Job Summary
Software Developer to support defense research with primary focus on Android app development, including GUI, underlying models, and analytics. Role may involve wrapping/refactoring complex physiological and empirical mathematical models (C, C#, MATLAB) for app hardening, and integrating with Web Apps and wearables. Experience with CAREN systems, DFLOW programming, motion capture data structures, and data-analysis pipelines is preferred. Collaboration with research teams to develop technologies that improve decision support systems used in critical real-world scenarios. Must be comfortable in a team environment and capable of delivering efficient data collection and analysis solutions. 2+ years in data analysis, mobile analytics, JSON/XML, relational databases, Android/iOS development, mobile UI design, scientific computing, mathematical modeling, DFLOW, Java, Lua, AWS, Vicon Nexus, and related tools are highly valued. Clear communication with stakeholders and ability to demonstrate applications to various audiences is expected. Location is onsite with a minimum 60% onsite requirement; flexible work arrangements available.
