Job Summary
Design and develop high quality, testable, and scalable software solutions for fraud and financial crime products while adhering to R&D best practices and established timelines. Actively collaborate with project stakeholders, including managers and product managers, to ensure implementations satisfy functional requirements and maintain consistency with organizational standards. Participate in project scoping and scheduling, track individual task progress, and alert stakeholders of any issues blocking completion. Ensure quality through functional, unit, and performance testing by providing thorough reviews of test plans and communicating necessary updates for code changes. Perform primary responsibilities on large projects independently while maintaining effectiveness during major changes in work environment or structure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related quantitative field
- Five or more years of experience developing web applications
- Experience with full-stack development, from presentation layer to logic and server layer
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment
- Experience with Java and RESTful APIs, SQL, Go, Angular or React
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications
- Familiarity with the latest generation SAS Viya platform and the SAS language
- Familiarity with SAS Visual Investigator as a solution basis
- Familiarity with Postgres, Oracle or SQLServer
