Job Summary
Software Developer role in Albuquerque, NM focusing on research, design, development, and testing of software across multiple systems. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, implementing new functionality, developing unit tests, and effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Occasional travel to support customer workloads CONUS/OCONUS. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD TOP SECRET/SCI clearance; Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE; proficiency in Python, R, Matlab, Go (or similar languages); experience with SDLC, testing, data visualization (matplotlib, bokeh, d3, Matlab); strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; self-motivation and ability to work in small teams; willingness to learn new skills. Preferred: active TS clearance, CI/CD tooling (GIT, Jenkins), RF systems familiarity, Big Data stacks (ELK, Spark).
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools
- Proficient in Python, R, Matlab, Go, or other modern programming languages
- Knowledge of common data visualization technologies, such as matplotlib, bokeh, d3, or Matlab
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
- High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
- Willigness to learn new skills and technologies and exit “comfort zone”
- Occasional travel will be required for this position in support of customer workloads CONUS and OCONUS.
