Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) control-plane storage team. Build and operate one of OCI’s foundational storage services with strict transaction semantics, high availability, and scalable data-plane architecture. Work on read/write scalability, strict serializability, multi-version concurrency control, and operational automation to enable global service growth. Mentor engineers, drive large technical initiatives, and shape the architecture of a critical OCI platform service that supports core OCI services across regions. Role emphasizes deep ownership of distributed systems, databases, and storage infrastructure within a globally distributed cloud environment.
