Job Summary
Design and develop software applications for robotics and vision systems based on functional specifications, ensuring proper machine operation. Conduct tests on test benches or directly on production lines related to developed software. Support the Electrical Assembly team in machine configuration, power-up activities, and FATs with customers, providing necessary training. Oversee R&D projects specifically focused on Vision Systems and Robotics. This role requires a Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science, along with 2–3 years of experience in automation. Candidates must possess technical skills in C#, Python, and C++, plus specific expertise in ROS/ROS 2. Willingness to travel frequently for domestic and international assignments is essential. The position offers an initial gross annual salary of €39,000 within a global, multinational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science
- 2–3 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in the automation sector
- Technical skills related to vision systems and software programming in C#, Python, and C++
- Good knowledge of English
- Specific expertise in robotics (knowledge of ROS/ROS 2)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team with the various company departments involved
- Willingness to travel frequently for medium-term domestic and international assignments
