Software/Control Engineer II

Job Summary
Prepare detailed schematics, working engineering drawings, and bills of materials for electrical devices and systems. Conduct electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic design, including peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, and machine validation coordination with build and electrical teams. Travel up to 10% to customer sites for installations, runoffs, and field service support while representing the company professionally. Work with R&D on new product development, provide technical support during assembly and final testing, and lead continuous improvement activities to enhance product performance and standardization. Commit to safety protocols by understanding risks, completing training, and documenting incidents as required.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience designing electrical circuits and systems
- Strong understanding of Electrical design of circuits, pneumatic controls, electrical systems, machine controls, and electrical control panels
- Must be well versed at designing electrical systems/circuits using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software to design electrical control systems
- Must be able to program Allen Bradley - Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using ladder logic
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
- Is a controls engineering subject matter expert
