Job Summary
Support configuration management activities, including version control, baselining, and change tracking for software components within the Holistic Health & Fitness initiative. Maintain configuration records and repositories, track configuration items and dependencies, and assist with build coordination, packaging, and release support as directed. Prepare release notes, change logs, and deployment documentation while coordinating with software engineers to ensure releases align with approved schedules. Maintain configuration documentation and artifacts required for Government review, ensuring audit readiness by keeping records complete and up to date. Assist in preparing materials for reviews, demonstrations, or inspections and communicate configuration status clearly to team members and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting software configuration management or technical support functions
- Familiarity with version control systems and basic software release processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting configuration management in a government or regulated environment
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development workflows
- Experience working with software engineering teams in a collaborative environment
- Prior experience supporting DoW or federal customers
