Job Summary
Software Configuration Analyst - Level 5 to develop, enforce, and maintain Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes on a large-scale program in accordance with OSSP and contractual requirements. Support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and COTS software products. Responsibilities include coordinating and generating configured builds for test and delivery, administering SCM tools, facilitating control-board meetings, documenting processes, coordinating changes to program data, conducting internal and external audits, generating metrics, and ensuring CI/CD pipelines with automated testing. The role combines automation, provisioning/deployment techniques, and agile practices to enable rapid maturation and secure deployment. Occasional late shifts or on-call remote work may be requested; excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years with a Master's; 8 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizenship with active Top Secret/SCI at time of application
- Experience with AWS/C2S
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Jira, Jenkins and Git/Version Control Software
- Experience with Docker containers
- Ability to build automation and CI/CD solutions
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly at different organizational levels
- Experience in software configuration management
- Experience coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
