Job Summary

Lead and oversee software certification activities for DO-178C-compliant software across Cabin, Electrical Subsystems, Interiors, Network Systems, and Propulsion domains within Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Manage and mentor professional engineers, develop and execute software project and implementation plans, ensure regulatory and internal quality standards, and cultivate relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners. Drive technical strategy, cross-functional coordination, and governance to deliver high-assurance software for safety-critical airborne systems. This onsite role requires a Bachelor’s degree, leadership experience, and strong collaboration with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams, with emphasis on DO-178 certification, DO-331/332/330, cloud proficiency, Agile/Scrum practices, and a proactive focus on safety, reliability, and program execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience working in aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industry
  • 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • at least one year of leadership experience OR completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
