Job Summary
This role is a hands-on Software & Automation Engineer focused on developing custom applications and supporting systems that drive performance in a manufacturing environment. Key duties include configuring servers, supporting PLC/HMI systems, and managing SQL databases, requiring a strong background in IT and programming with at least five years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to IT systems, automation, or process improvement
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++
- Familiarity with PC/server setup, networking, and troubleshooting
- Exposure to PLC and HMI systems (programming experience is a plus but not required)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data reporting tools or historian systems
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills
