Job Summary
Maintain accurate ServiceNow CMDB records and reconcile COTS software entitlements against SnowLM and Intune data to ensure license compliance. Process software requests through the SAM lifecycle, coordinate deployments via Microsoft Intune, and oversee the full asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement. Support vendor audits for Adobe and Microsoft, analyze usage data for cost optimization, and generate compliance reports for upper management. Document internal policies aligned with ISO/IEC 19770 and respond to stakeholder escalations while driving continuous improvement in ITSM practices.
Required Qualifications
- A strong grasp of commercial licensing models, including subscription vs perpetual, per-user vs per-device, and vendor agreements such as Adobe VIP / ETLA
- 5+ years in an ITIL-aligned operational role in Software Asset Management or a similar function, ideally with a COTS / desktop software focus
- Hands-on experience with discovery, software metering, and reconciling deployments against entitlements using tools such as Snow License Manager
- A clear understanding of the ITIL framework and the ability to apply its principles within an IT service management environment; ITIL qualification as standard
- Working knowledge of application deployment and inventory in Microsoft Intune and SCCM / Configuration Manager
- Solid knowledge and experience of ServiceNow
- Experience working to, and exceeding, Service Level Agreements
- A process-orientated mindset with a methodical, planned approach to achieving goals, strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders within a global environment
- Comfort with ambiguity, the ability to thrive on change, and advocacy for the IT organisation both internally and externally
- Enthusiasm and dedication to drive continual improvement and change
Desired Qualifications
- SAM / ITAM certifications, such as IAITAM CSAM / CHAMP, and familiarity with ISO/IEC 19770
- Direct experience managing major COTS vendor estates globally
- Exposure to working with vendor management and procurement teams on a global scale
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
