Job Summary
Architect and provide technology analysis to modernize and streamline government applications, leveraging Java, Oracle databases, Linux, Azure, and AI-assisted development tools. Lead a full-stack development team, design APIs and back-end services for secure data transactions, deploy on cloud platforms, and work within federal agency environments with a focus on modernizing and maintaining GOTS applications. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability determination. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering required. Experience with Agile frameworks, cloud deployments (Azure/AWS), and user-centered design principles enhances the role, along with familiarity with DoD/government data engineering or data science projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing applications using Java in enterprise-level environments
- 2+ years of experience with Agile frameworks
- 1+ years of experience as a team lead of a full-stack software development team
- Experience developing APIs and back-end services to support secure data transactions
- Experience integrating AI tools to accelerate development processes
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
