Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement server-side and client-side software solutions aligned with business strategies and client requirements. Engage directly with clients, product managers, and business analysts to define scope, plan deliverables, and propose solutions that meet specific objectives. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure features are built to specification, develop project timelines, and evaluate risks while coaching engineers on architectural patterns. Mitigate problems, ensure adherence to coding standards and security protocols (SOC2 & PCI), and monitor technology trends for open source opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years experience with end-to-end architecture for large design and coordinate project teams in the SaaS industry
- Demonstrated expertise in building Enterprise Applications, Web Services, and Management at scale
- Experience with Architectural patterns for High Availability, Performance, Scale Out architecture, Disaster Recovery, Security Architecture Knowledge of cloud-based architectures
- Software development experience with PHP object oriented / modular programming
- Experience with MVC frameworks (Laravel or Symfony)
- Understanding of relational database design (MySQL or similar), including performance and scaling considerations
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles and API documentation standards (OpenAPI/JSON Schema)
- Ability to guide the team in all tiers of enterprise applications including front-end technologies like AngularJS, Vue.js, etc
- Strong understanding of information technology, security, confidentiality, and privacy practices and regulations
- Data-driven approach to identifying and demonstrating the right tools at every stage of software development to ensure code and architectural qualities are not compromised
- Ability to prioritize and handle work to critical project timelines in a dynamic environment and develop new approaches to complex design problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cloud architecture (Lambda / ECS / RDS / ElastiCache etc.)
