Job Summary
Design, develop, and support manufacturing software control systems used with Mitsubishi fabrication equipment at customer facilities across North America. Responsible for requirement analysis, design, validation, deployment, and ongoing support of automation software; provide pre- and post-sales technical support; demonstrate software products to customers; analyze customer requirements and design software solutions; maintain clear communication with customers and software development partners; test new software builds for functionality, reliability, and performance; provide expert-level support to factory technicians and process engineers; collaborate with the software development team to drive core product growth; develop new software solutions for customers and industry partners; create and present technical training curricula; travel to customer and industry partner facilities to perform sales support, implementation, and advanced technical training (up to 50% travel); cultivate professional relationships with developers and customers; perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years working experience in Software design and Development
- 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation with development and support of mission critical systems
