Job Summary
Mentor and manage a team of software developers, setting clear goals to ensure deadlines are met while fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensure the stability and reliability of software systems by addressing technical issues promptly and collaborating with PMO, architects, and product owners to meet service-level agreements. Evaluate team performance regularly, identify improvement areas, and implement necessary plans. Lead project management using Microsoft and Azure technologies within a highly regulated insurance field.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in software development experience within information technology in a highly regulated field such as insurance or finance
- 5 years minimum within a management role
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and web technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, Azure services)
- Excellent supervisory and communication abilities
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
