Job Summary
Design and implement PLC-based control systems for advanced automation and robotic systems on the factory floor. Own controls scope from project kickoff through commissioning. Program and debug PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi). Develop controls specifications and I/O definitions. Collaborate with electrical engineering on system design and integration; support system integration and debugging on the factory floor; assist with field installation, startup, and commissioning; troubleshoot and support existing customer systems; train customers on system operation; work with engineers and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 1+ years of PLC or controls programming experience
- Experience with automation systems design, wiring, and troubleshooting
