Job Summary
Lead software and advanced manufacturing efforts for Johnson Controls' Stack Forging Thermal Solutions. Drive architectural vision for Alloy’s proprietary slicer and controls software, balancing hands-on technical contribution with people management. Interface across UX, design workflows, controls systems, and mathematical modeling to enable rapid digital-to-physical iteration and scale technology into production. Maintain and enforce software development lifecycle standards; recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing software team. Requires onsite presence 4 days/week with 1 day remote; commuting distance or relocation to Burlington, MA. Proficiency in C++, Python, and TypeScript; experience in hardware-adjacent multidisciplinary environments; CAD/3D printing or simulation experience preferred. Salary range $130,000–$200,000 plus bonus and benefits. Sponsorship is not available; must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
