Job Summary
Greet customers, build rapport through conversation, and close sales by demonstrating product knowledge and delivering accurate information. Merchandise the store by stocking shelves, counters, or tables, and operate the cash register to complete transactions. Manage the softgoods sales staff and oversee department inventory control while performing other duties as assigned. This role requires flexibility for split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends, with a schedule adjusted to maximize ski time. The position offers a competitive hourly rate plus commission, along with a free employee ski pass and extensive discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Be Friendly, outgoing and comfortable working with people
- Love to ski or snowboard and some knowledge of how it all works
- Have basic computer skills
- English fluency, written and verbal
- Need to be flexible in your schedule to get the most out of ski time, including working split shifts, nights, holidays and weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 25 pounds
