Job Summary
Ensure high-level customer service and accurately record transactions at electronic cash registers, mainlines, and self-checkouts. Replenish merchandise around checkout areas, maintain planograms and labeling standards, and perform cycle counts as required. Manage hot-selling items, complete markdowns and SKU changes, and enforce compliance policies for tobacco, lottery, health, safety, and loss prevention. Keep the checkout work area clean and organized while adhering to all operational guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and maintain authorization for the duration of employment.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
- Ability to stand and/or walk.
- Ability to bend, twist, and squat.
- Ability to perform tasks involving firm grasping.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions.
- Ability to reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
- Ability to operate equipment, including using a ladder.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
