Job Summary
Coach and mentor Frozen Ropes travel softball teams while providing private and small-group instruction. Lead clinics, camps, practices, and player development programs, teaching hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, and game strategy. Help players improve their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game within a positive, structured, and engaging training environment. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches while representing the organization's culture and commitment to player development. Full-time and part-time roles available beginning Fall 2026 with flexible scheduling based on lessons and team activities.
Required Qualifications
- Played softball through at least the high school level
- Strong understanding of softball fundamentals
- Passion for teaching and developing young athletes
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
- Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is expected
Desired Qualifications
- Collegiate or other advanced playing experience
- Previous softball coaching or instructional experience
- Travel softball coaching experience
- Experience working with players of various ages and skill levels
- Softball pitching experience is a strong plus
