Job Summary
Lead, motivate, and develop student-athletes in softball through planning and implementing practice sessions, guiding training and competition, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and ensuring health and safety. Develop and execute effective training programs and practice plans; instruct athletes in rules, techniques, and strategies; evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback; foster a positive team culture emphasizing discipline, effort, integrity, and mutual respect. Coordinate with assistant coaches, athletic trainers, and staff; communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and administration; attend practices, games, meetings, and events; maintain equipment and inventory; serve as a mentor to student-athletes. Background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven coaching experience in [specific sport, e.g., basketball, soccer, track, etc.]
- Knowledge of sport-specific techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent leadership, motivational, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Satisfactory background report
