Job Summary
Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products, moving product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately. Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead, providing friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed. Support other tasks as required to keep store operations running smoothly. This entry-level stocking clerk role is part of Meijer's family of retailers serving communities across six states.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable learning and using basic technology
- Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way
- Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Must be available for one overnight shift on Tuesday nights
