Job Summary

Conduct front-end analysis by reviewing current operational directives, standing contingency plans, and conceptual approaches to create scenarios that stress decision-making and joint warfighting functions. Develop the Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) for operations-based and discussion-based exercises while contributing to the development of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events. Manage scenario design and training for Table Top Exercises, Command Post Exercises, Senior Leader Seminars, Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercises, and Field Training Exercises to achieve stated commander objectives. Requires a TS/SCI clearance, 10+ years of SOF experience, and 5+ years in exercise design. Includes 11-20% travel to remote locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years experience in SOF
  • Associate's Degree with 15 years experience working in SOF
  • prior (E9, CW4-CW5, O5-O6) with 15 years experience working in SOF
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Minimum of 6 years of recent experience serving in a command, senior enlisted advisor, or primary staff billet in a SOF (USSOCOM/TSOC), Service, Joint Staff, OSD, or 3-4 Star level Service/GCC HQs
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in exercise and scenario design and management
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience conducting joint and coalition operations and training
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Service, SOF, and Joint doctrine, planning, operations, training, and exercises
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience developing operational products to support GCC and TSOC SOF/CT exercises
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience researching and integrating current intelligence and operations to develop complex scenarios, studies, and analysis related to SOF core activities for all geographic areas
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience to communication exercise design details with operational level exercise planners, staffs, and commanders; interagency partners, and partner nation exercise planners
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Valid driver's license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record
  • Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Quattro will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
  • Ability to work in confined areas
  • Ability to work in remote and rural environments
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS
  • 11-20% / Occasional travel
  • This position may require travel to remote overseas locations for extended periods of time

Desired Qualifications

  • Completion of Service or Joint Senior Professional Military Education or Enlisted equivalent
  • Graduate of Service or Joint ILE or Enlisted equivalent
  • Prior experience assigned or supporting USASOC
