Job Summary
Educational Assistant for SOESD LTCT/JDEP programs to support educational, behavioral, social-emotional, and transition needs of students in juvenile detention and long-term care treatment settings. Responsibilities include assisting licensed staff with instructional activities, small-group and classroom learning, supporting IEP/504 plans, behavior support and safety procedures, data collection and documentation, trauma-informed and culturally responsive interactions, supervision during classroom activities and transitions, crisis response, and collaboration with SOESD and partner agencies to facilitate re-entry and continuity of education. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, ability to obtain CPR/First Aid, Oregon driver’s license, and successful background checks.
Required Qualifications
