Job Summary
Sod Stacker at A. Duda and Sons, Inc. in Viera/Melbourne, FL, part of the harvesting team responsible for stacking sod. Responsibilities include mowing, rolling and sharpening blades, repairing pallets, forklift operation, tractor driving, and general upkeep of the shop area. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 6 am to 4 pm with overtime/weekends available; Sod harvesting and work hours may vary with demand. Earn a $1 piece rate per pallet in addition to hourly wages; average pallets per day around 75. Requires passing a physical, drug test, and background check; must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.
