Job Summary
Provide professional counselling services to Nanyang Polytechnic students, including individual and group sessions, crisis management, and risk assessment; design and deliver psychoeducational programmes; contribute to mental health initiatives; collaborate with academic staff, Personal Mentors (PEMs), parents and external partners; maintain documentation, data entry, and reporting; support upstream outreach and training to staff and students; promote resilience, wellbeing, and a safe campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Counselling, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant counselling experience with late adolescents and young adults (17-30 years old)
- Strong experience in crisis management, suicide risk assessment and safety planning
- Demonstrated ability to conduct individual and group counselling effectively
- Experience working with families, educators and multi-disciplinary partners
- Good documentation, case management and professional communication skills
- Proficient in conducting talks and workshops on adolescents and mental health issues
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
