Job Summary
Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) at Tuerk House provides individual and group counseling, conducts assessments, maintains client records, coordinates with social agencies and healthcare partners, develops and implements treatment plans, and ensures adherence to ethics and policies. The role requires independent, proactive work within the continuum of care, collaboration with the Program Director, and delivering substance use counseling and education, with some daytime and evening hours as needed. Must possess Maryland LCSW licensure, at least two years of field experience, valid driver’s license, and complete annual training. Prolonged desk work and occasional lifting are required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland Board LCSW required
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in field or related field
- Copy of licensure certificate required
- Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license and all appropriate professional certificates and credentials
- Must successfully complete annual training requirements of 25 hours per year
- Background and drug test completion required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (physical requirements)
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
