Job Summary
Youth Mental Health Manager oversees SEL and mental health initiatives across elementary and middle school programs, supervising MSW interns, coordinating IAPs and Behavioral Support Plans, and ensuring services align with OCFS/DYCD standards. Leads program development and evaluation, designs staff trainings and workshops, manages crisis response procedures, and prepares regular reports. Builds strong family and community engagement, collaborates with leadership, school administration, and external partners to support students and families in Brooklyn. Requires Master’s degree in social work or related field, LMSW/LCSW certification or eligibility, and at least 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience in youth mental health and SEL. Compensation: $65,000-$67,000 annually; 35 hours/week, Monday–Friday; Brooklyn, NY location.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- LMSW or LCSW certification required or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in youth mental health and SEL initiatives, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
