Job Summary
Social Worker for districtwide elementary/early childhood services focusing on counseling, family engagement, and advocacy. Responsibilities include determining family needs, coordinating community services, coordinating the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC), leading systematic parent involvement workshops, conducting small-group sessions centered on SEL needs, modeling exemplary practices, and building relationships with students, families, and administrators. Requires NJ State Certificate in School Counseling and experience in preschool/elementary settings with knowledge of RTI, student behavior management, counseling/social skills groups, and community outreach; excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- Elementary/Early Childhood Education
- NJ State Certificate in School Counseling
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in preschool and/or elementary school
