Job Summary
Social Worker Site Coordinator for the Medical-Financial Partnership (Pediatrics & Prenatal Sites) at Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation in collaboration with Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Delivers longitudinal social risk/need resource coordination services across prenatal, family medicine, and pediatrics clinic settings; connects families to psychosocial, mental health, and economic stability supports; supervises MSW trainees and coordinates with health-care teams and community providers; conducts interviews and assessments to identify barriers and strengths; develops and implements social work treatment plans; participates in multidisciplinary team conferences; supports ongoing education and quality improvement activities; requires a Master’s in Social Work and ACSW registration, with licensure and supervision experience, and may require bilingual capabilities (Spanish) per desirables.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited graduate school
- Valid Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) registration or intention to obtain
- Option I or Option II qualifications as described in the posting (CSWE-accredited MSW; ACSW registration)
- Minimum of a California Class C Driver License or ability to obtain/ensure transportation for essential functions
- Experience requirements: at least 2 years post-degree experience in multidisciplinary medical/mental health/child-family services (Option II) or equivalent supervised clinical experience (Option I)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
- Spanish language fluency (desirable)
- Experience supervising and/or managing individuals or teams (MSWs or MSW interns) (desirable)
