Job Summary
Manage a caseload of assigned clients by conducting comprehensive screenings and assessments for individuals seeking food pantry and workforce services. Provide counseling and education on available benefits, assist with applying for qualifying entitlements, and coordinate ongoing support while maintaining updated records. Make internal referrals to JCC programs including GED, ESL, and Career Connections, and facilitate external referrals to other agencies. Create and maintain a database of mental health resources and coordinate support groups. Ensure compliance with funders' protocols and attend relevant trainings. This on-site role supports workforce participants at the Career Connections Hub to overcome barriers to training completion.
Required Qualifications
- MSW
- At least 2 years' experience working in the social services field
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Hebrew, Spanish, and/or Russian
