Job Summary
Lead and coordinate safeguarding enquiries for adults at risk, working closely with individuals, families, and partner agencies to ensure safety while maintaining independence and dignity. Collaborate with community organisations and carers to shape personalised outcomes that support people in achieving what matters to them. This role is part of the newly launched Living Better Lives vision for Adult Social Care in Lancashire, focusing on innovative practice and strengths-based approaches. You will join a supportive team within the Safeguarding Team, with employment subject to transition to a new unitary council from April 2028.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with Social Work England
- You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post
- You must be insured for business use
