Job Summary
Social Worker (PRN) providing psychosocial assessments, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning for inpatients at Lindner Center of Hope. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, contributing to treatment planning with crisis intervention, brief therapy, cognitive-behavioral and dialectical-behavioral approaches, documenting in EMR and paper charts, coordinating post-hospitalization needs, educating patients and families about illness adaptation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, pursuing ongoing licensure and continuing education, and participating in supervision, quality improvement, and field education.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Social Work degree from an accredited school of social work
- Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Independent Social Worker by the State of Ohio Social Work Board
- 1-3 years experience in a health care setting; Psychiatric/mental health experience required
- Solid knowledge of social work practice; strong assessment, interview, and counseling skills
- Strong people skills: ability to collaborate well
- Ability to enthusiastically follow and model the Lindner Center of Hope mission, vision, and values
