Job Summary
Join Summit Healthcare's Social Services team as a Social Worker or Social Services Counselor. Responsibilities include providing psychosocial and crisis intervention consultations, assessing and planning for patient psychosocial needs, and managing discharge plans. Candidates must have a Master's Degree in social work, a current LMSW license in Arizona, and at least 1-2 years of hospital social work experience. Skills required include crisis intervention expertise, customer service, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare teams. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in social work from an accredited school
- Current license in social work in the state of Arizona, LMSW
- 1-2 years of previous experience in hospital social work
- Basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- BLS/CPR certification (preferred upon hire; required within 30 days of hire)
- AZ fingerprint clearance card (Application completed within 14 days of hire date)
