Job Summary
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address psychosocial functioning obstacles for students with emotional and behavioral issues, including autism. Support students and families in overcoming personal and environmental challenges through psychoeducation and treatment plan development. Collaborate with school systems and coordinate with local social service agencies to help families access relevant community resources. Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to implement and evaluate treatment plans while engaging in cross-discipline collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
- verification of having completed 3 semester hours or State-approved CPD credits in special education
- MSDE Certification as a School Social Worker
