Job Summary
Assess, care plan, and identify support packages for children aged 0–18 with substantial and permanent disabilities. Collaborate with families, colleagues, and partner agencies to ensure young people have equal opportunities to non-disabled peers. Work within a multi-disciplinary team of Social Workers, Family Practitioners, and Occupational Therapists to support families throughout their journey with Children's Services. This 12-month secondment covers maternity leave at 37 hours per week. Join a dedicated Norfolk County Council team committed to empowering children with disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Is a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Has experience of working with children and families.
- Has strong assessment and relationship-building skills.
