Job Summary
The Social Work Clinician II provides clinical and casework services under supervision, advocating person-centered recovery planning and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Essential functions include designing and implementing recovery plans, establishing therapeutic relationships, providing individual and group therapy, maintaining documentation of treatment provided, and participating in discharge planning processes. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work and one year of direct service experience with severe mental illness. CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications are required within the first 60 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school and working towards licensure and registered with the Board of Behavioral Science
- One (1) year of direct service experience with individuals with severe mental illness in an inpatient or outpatient setting is required
- Criminal justice clearance and education verification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment

- Previous experience with population to be served and/or work in a similar program setting
