Job Summary
Social Worker/ Therapist on Yale Health's Bridge Care team provides clinical assessment, crisis response, and DBT-informed therapy to high-acuity university students. Responsibilities include comprehensive intake and psychosocial/risk assessments, suicide risk assessment and safety planning, crisis intervention and stabilization, brief, DBT-informed individual and group therapy, accurate documentation in the counseling center's electronic health record, participation in clinical supervision and team meetings, program development and quality improvement, and 24-hour emergency coverage as needed. Collaboration with Acuity Team members, campus partners, and external providers to ensure continuity of care; culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to a diverse student population; ongoing professional development in DBT, suicide prevention, and college student mental health. Master’s in Social Work and licensure in Connecticut (or licensure eligible) required; prior experience in high-acuity mental health settings and university counseling centers preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Three years of clinical care post-licensure
- State of Connecticut Clinical Social Worker license or CT license eligible
