Job Summary
Social Worker for Meadowlark Academy in St. Helens School District. This role supports and advances student learning by delivering comprehensive services that strengthen partnerships among home, school, and community. Responsibilities include identifying and addressing barriers to learning through assessment, counseling, coordination of school and community resources, and program development; fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment; promoting students' social, emotional development; collaborating with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and community partners; developing and implementing strategies to encourage positive student engagement and strengthen school connectedness; and participating in IFSP/IEP teams, staff development on trauma-informed practice, and crisis intervention as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, required
- Current LCSW License, OR TSPC School Social Worker License, OR TSPC Restricted School Social Worker License OR be eligible for a Restricted School Social Worker License, OR current LPC License, OR LPC Registered Associate, OR TSPC School Counselor License
- Ability to travel to school sites, community programs, and home visits to work with students, families and staff across four counties (Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, Washington).
- Valid Driver's License; available transportation and proof of auto insurance.
