Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive parenting capacity assessments for families to enable them to thrive, providing evidence-based, analytical recommendations for permanency planning. Build meaningful, professional relationships with families across multiple assessment centres while tailoring evaluations to meet specific needs. Deliver high-quality assessment reports for court and support parents through objective, honest, and open engagement. Work under dedicated social work practice managers with qualified line management, supervision, and access to legal advice and bespoke training.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- Minimum 1 year's post qualifying experience with children and families
- Willingness and ability to work across a number of family assessment centres
- Experience and capability in preparing high-quality parenting assessment reports for court
- Experience in working with families to complete robust parenting assessments
- Enhanced background checks through the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)
- Right to work in the UK
