Job Summary
Provide care and protection social work within a strengths-based, culturally appropriate framework to support tamariki, rangatahi, and whanau; work with Maori and Tauiwi, applying knowledge of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989 and its Family Court processes; after-hours duty is essential as the role develops; must hold a Social Work Qualification with registration eligibility, a full NZ driver’s license, and align with OHF’s Christian Kaupapa; salary is based on experience (NZ$68,038–$102,000 per year).
Required Qualifications
- A Social Work Qualification (minimum 3 years' experience)
- Registration with the SWRB or be eligible for registration
- Knowledge and experience in care and protection social work
- NZ driver’s license (full)
