Job Summary
Provide emotional, social, and grief support to patients and family members while collaborating with spiritual and bereavement staff. Guide families through complex healthcare processes, helping them understand disease progression and navigate decisions. Participate in Interdisciplinary Group meetings to identify social-psychological issues and assist in coordinating Ultimate Gift Programs like the Gift of a Day. Requires a Licensed Social Worker with a Master's or Bachelor's degree and at least two years of medical setting experience. Visit patients and perform duties within the field using a reliable personal vehicle. Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with health, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Social Worker
- Master's or Bachelor's degree completed in a program accredited by the Council of Social Work Education
- Reliable personal vehicle/transportation
- valid driver's license
- ability to safely operate said vehicle to visit patients and perform job duties within the field
