Social Worker - Looked After Children

Job Summary
Manage a caseload of children who are in the care of the local authority; develop, implement, and regularly review care plans tailored to each child’s needs; ensure placements (foster, residential, kinship) are safe, stable, and supportive; promote health, education, and emotional wellbeing and ensure access to appropriate services; maintain regular contact with children through statutory visits and direct work; prepare and present reports for Looked After Child Reviews; work closely with birth families, carers, schools, health professionals, and other agencies; support children through transitions including reunification with family, adoption, or leaving care; advocate for the child’s voice in planning and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
