Social Worker - Looked After Children

Job Summary
Manage a caseload of Looked After Children, developing, implementing and regularly reviewing tailored care plans; ensure safe, stable and supportive foster, residential or kinship placements; promote the child’s health, education and emotional wellbeing and ensure access to services; maintain regular statutory visits and direct work with children; prepare and present reports for Looked After Child Reviews; work closely with birth families, carers, schools, health professionals and other agencies; support children through transitions including reunification with family, adoption or leaving care; advocate for the child’s voice in planning and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
