Job Summary
Provides social work services to psychiatric patients and their families, including consultation and collaboration with appropriate resource persons. Acts as primary therapist in the group treatment of patients. Requires MSW and LCSW; BLS; Assaultive Behavior Training per AB508/SB1299; experience facilitating group therapy; strong collaboration with multidisciplinary treatment teams; care coordination and patient advocacy within a hospital behavioral health setting.
Required Qualifications
- MSW from an accredited school of Social Work
- Minimum of two years clinical experience in a psychiatric setting
- LCSW required
- BLS required
- Assaultive Behavior Training Certification per AB508 and SB1299 required upon hire/transfer
- Experience facilitating and/or participating in group therapy sessions
