Job Summary
Provide students, parents, and school staff with individualized counseling and consultation to address emotional, familial, or social issues; conduct assessments and diagnostic examinations to identify learning or social interaction issues; perform casework with students and parents; assist with behavior management plans; coordinate with outside agencies and school administrators; serve as a liaison between home and school, maintaining communications and supporting parental involvement; engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in educational social work practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minnesota State Certification as a School Social Worker
- Bachelor's degree in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
