Job Summary
Provide comprehensive mental health treatment to clients and families by completing psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, and reviews while utilizing DSM-V standards. Manage crisis patient needs and preventative strategies through case management and advocacy within a multidisciplinary team. Build referral relationships with the hospital and treatment community to support diverse populations. Work independently with minimal instruction, utilizing electronic medical records where available. Participate in an on-call rotation of 1-2 weeks per year. Join the Counseling Care Team at Beloit Health System to restore and enhance mental functioning in the social environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling and Guidance or related degree from an accredited university
- Must have the ability to work independently with minimal instruction and effectively within a team setting
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally Licensed as LPC, LCSW or LMFT in Wisconsin (Minimal License is LPC-IT or MSW-IT)
- Ideal candidate will have 3000 hours post-graduate experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) is a plus
