Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop effective treatment plans for patients with behavioral problems, psychiatric disorders, and substance use issues while ensuring patient safety. Provide crisis intervention, facilitate education and support groups, and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss ongoing discharge planning. Manage caseloads, maintain accurate documentation to comply with accreditation standards, and assist families in understanding complex life situations and their impact on lifestyle. Work full-time hours from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, state licensure, and CPR/de-escalation certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university
- new graduate of accredited master's degree social work program with successful completion of social work field education, internship or similar practicum
- State licensure, as required by the state in which the facility operates
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSW)
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- CPR certification
- de-escalation/restraint certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years' experience working with patient population
