Job Summary
School Social Worker for Jerome School District #261 provides bio-psychological and psychosocial assessments, delivers wraparound services to children, and serves as a member of the district counseling team. Responsibilities include consulting on problem-solving, evaluation, and IEP processes; supervising and coordinating home-school-community referrals, home visits, truancy intervention, social-emotional and behavioral assessments, and direct services; coordinating wraparound services with at-risk student populations; collaborating with guardians, Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Probation and Diversion, Children’s Mental Health, Suicide Prevention Task Force, Drug and Alcohol Programs, Health and Welfare, and community-based services; providing case management to support student personal, social, or emotional progress; maintaining records; participating in MTSS/IEP problem-solving teams and meetings; and performing related duties as assigned. Must meet general educational ethical requirements and hold licensure in social work.
Required Qualifications
- A. or M.A. in Social Work and valid state Social Work license.
