Job Summary
Social Worker for Brooklyn Felony ATI and Mental Health Court programs. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, writing detailed psychosocial evaluations, providing trauma-informed case management, coordinating with court stakeholders, making thorough treatment recommendations, and facilitating linkages to wrap-around services and community-based organizations for individuals referred to the Brooklyn Mental Health Court and Brooklyn Felony ATI programs. Requires LMSW with 3-4 years in criminal justice/related fields, current New York State licensure, strong time management and written communication, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a court-based diversion setting. Full-time position based in Brooklyn, NY; compensation $60,500-$78,800 with comprehensive benefits. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.
Required Qualifications
- LMSW with a minimum of 3-4 years in criminal justice and/or related fields such as healthcare, substance use and mental health treatment, homeless services and supportive housing, domestic violence programming, sex offense treatment, and services for people with developmental disabilities is required.
- Candidates must be currently licensed in New York state.
- Excellent time management and written skills are a must.
- Bi-lingual strongly preferred.
